Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use cs2demo.gg: the website, the app and everything you can buy in it. By signing in or using cs2demo.gg you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

Who we are

cs2demo.gg is run by a private individual based in Türkiye ("we", "us"), named in our privacy policy as the law requires there. You can reach us at [email protected].

cs2demo.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve, Steam, FACEIT or HLTV. Counter-Strike and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation; FACEIT is a trademark of its owner. Names and marks are used only to describe what the service works with.

The service

cs2demo.gg turns Counter-Strike 2 demos into 2D replays, statistics and coaching. Watching replays, the scoreboard and economy, the rule-based coach, FACEIT statistics, lineups and pro matches cost nothing. AI analyses, written by Anthropic's Claude models, cost credits. We keep improving the service, so features can change, be added or be removed, and new features may be offered as previews that work less reliably.

Your account

• You sign in with Steam. You must be at least 16 years old.
• Keep your Steam account safe: you are responsible for what happens with your cs2demo.gg account, its credits and its plan. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
• One account per person. Do not open accounts to get around limits, and do not sell, rent or give away your account, its credits or anything you get from us.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. What that removes is described in our privacy policy.

Your demos and what you share

• Upload only demos you are allowed to share, such as matches you played or recordings that are publicly available. You are responsible for what you upload, write (for example team notes) and share.
• You keep your rights in what you upload. You give us a worldwide, free licence to store, process, copy and show it, and what we make from it (replays, statistics, analyses), as far as running and improving the service needs, including showing it to the people you share it with (your team, a share link, your public profile). The demo file itself is deleted once it is analyzed.
• Without a plan, a match stays in a library for 24 hours after it arrives unless an AI analysis is run on it there; then it is removed, with its replay, notes and drawings in that library. Matches with an AI analysis, and all matches while the library's owner or the member who added them has a plan, stay until removed. When a plan ends, its matches without an AI analysis get 24 hours from then. A countdown on each match shows the time left.
• Matches, profiles and boards you share can be seen by anyone with the link, and search engines may list shared pages. You can stop sharing at any time.
• Demos contain the in-game names and play of other players. Use what you see to improve, not to harass, expose or target anyone.

Acceptable use

Do not use cs2demo.gg to break the law or other people's rights, to harass anyone, or to cheat, make cheats or fix matches. Do not try to get around credit or plan limits, overload or attack the service, probe it for weaknesses without our permission, scrape it, copy it at scale, or reverse engineer it. Do not use its statistics or analyses for betting or gambling. Do not upload anything unlawful or anything that is not a game recording.

Reporting content and how we act

If you think something on cs2demo.gg is unlawful or breaks these terms (for example a shared match, a public profile, a team note or a pro match you appear in), write to us at [email protected] with the link and the reason. We look at every report and act quickly. We may remove or hide content, stop a share, or suspend or close an account that breaks the law or these terms, and when we do, we tell the person concerned why, unless the law or safety stops us. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we look at it again.

AI analyses and statistics

AI analyses are written by a language model from the data in your demo. They can be wrong, miss things or misjudge a situation, so treat them as a second opinion from a coach, not as fact or professional advice. Statistics, ratings, win probabilities and data from other services (such as FACEIT and Steam) are estimates and may be incomplete or wrong. We do not promise any result, rank or rating from using them.

Prices and payments

• Prices are shown on the pricing section and in the app, in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT are added at checkout where they apply.
• Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which sells to you as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges the taxes and sends your invoices, under its own buyer terms. Your card details never reach us.
• We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for; a new subscription price applies only from a renewal after we announce it, and you can cancel before then.

Credits

• An AI analysis costs 1 credit; a deep review costs more, as shown on its button. Opening an analysis you already have is free.
• Each Steam account that is public and at least a year old may have one free AI analysis, of a match it played in, written by a lighter model and queued behind paid analyses. Each demo file can have a free analysis once, whoever uploads it. We may limit how many free analyses are given each day, and we may change or stop the offer. Getting another one with more accounts breaks these terms.
• Credits from packs do not expire while your account exists.
• A plan's credits are for its billing period: what is left when the period renews or the plan ends does not carry over. Analyses use your plan's credits before your pack credits.
• If an AI analysis fails, its credits come back to your account.
• Credits are a prepaid right to use the service, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and are deleted with your account.

Subscriptions

• Pro, Pro+ and Esport are subscriptions. They renew automatically every month or year, at the price of your plan, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan. Your plan, and its credits, stay until the end of the period you paid for; then it ends and nothing more is charged.
• You can change your plan in the same place. A change starts with your next billing period.
• If a renewal payment fails, the plan stays on while Polar tries again; the last period's credits end. If the payment does not go through, the plan ends.
• Deleting your account ends your subscription right away, without a refund for the rest of the period.

Refunds

Refunds are made through Polar. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund a pack or a renewal whose credits you have not used. Credits already used and the rest of a subscription period you cancel are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, you may have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because the service starts as soon as you buy, using credits or the plan within that time means you ask for it to start right away, and what you have used is not refunded.

If we close your account because it broke these terms or the law, unused credits and the rest of a subscription period are not refunded. If we stop the service or close your account for any other reason, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

Availability

We work to keep cs2demo.gg running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available, fast or free of errors, or that data will never be lost. It depends on services we do not control, such as Steam, FACEIT, Anthropic, Polar, Cloudflare and our hosting, which have their own terms. We may stop the service; if we do, we announce it in advance where we can.

Our liability

cs2demo.gg is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those the law gives you and that cannot be excluded. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, lost games, ranks or results, and our total liability to you for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Your responsibility

If something you uploaded, shared or did with cs2demo.gg in breach of these terms or the law leads to a claim against us, you are responsible for it and cover the damage and reasonable costs it causes us, as far as the law allows.

Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as natural disasters, power or network outages, attacks, actions of authorities, or failures of the services we depend on.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using cs2demo.gg and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law, if we have to by law, or if we stop the service. The sections on your content licence for what was already shared, liability, your responsibility and law and disputes continue after the agreement ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service, the law or our providers change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and we announce important changes on the site before they take effect. If you keep using cs2demo.gg after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, you can cancel your plan and delete your account.

Other terms

• Transfer: we may transfer the service and this agreement to a company we set up or to someone who takes the service over; your rights under these terms stay the same. You may not transfer your account or this agreement.
• Feedback: if you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying for them.
• Sanctions: we may refuse or end access where the law, including sanctions, does not allow us to provide the service.
• Severability: if a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid one closest to its purpose.
• No waiver: if we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up.
• Whole agreement: these terms, the privacy policy and the prices shown at purchase are the whole agreement between you and us about cs2demo.gg. Polar's buyer terms cover the payment itself.
• Language: these terms are written in English; a translation is only for convenience.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul are competent for disputes. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can go to its courts or consumer bodies (in Türkiye, the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts). Please write to us first: most things can be sorted out quickly.
